As per the game files, there are a total of 30 paintings in Minecraft. But, at the moment, you can only access 26 of them within the survival gameplay. Others are hidden behind commands and custom data packs.

But, irrespective of availability, you can divide these paintings into 6 sizes. The painting takes up the size of the area that is available to it. With that out of the way, let’s explore all the painting options available in each size.

List of 1×1 Paintings

One block wide and one block tall, these are the smallest paintings in Minecraft. They are similar to item frames in Minecraft and perfect for adding flair to your builds.
