What are Minecraft Crossplay Servers?
Minecraft crossplay servers are Java Edition Minecraft servers that have been specifically modified to allow players from Bedrock Edition or Pocket Edition (PE) to join. This system allows Bedrock players on Windows, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and other mobile devices to play alongside Java players in the same world.
Crossplay servers open up broader multiplayer access, allowing friends with different Minecraft versions to stay connected without having to switch editions. When using Bedrock Edition, players must use a dedicated Bedrock IP address, which is usually a Java IP address plus the default port 19132, as stated on the server page.
